Gameplay: 10
From the moment the player begins playing, they soon realize the game has a very small learning curve, meaning even the most casual of gamers can learn the ropes in a matter of minutes. As a MMORPG ,the game features an immense quest system from which the player can pick and choose quests at his/her bidding.
The world features a thriving economy as players trade and create goods, which in turn promotes a sense of community amongst gamers. Players may undertake professions (mining, tailoring, etc.) from which they can use to create and sell goods they made to other players in exchange for money/goods, giving the player the sense of a bustling economy.
Players who encounter trouble on quests often have no problems finding other players to form a party with them in order to complete a quest.
On a personal note, this is the most player friendly online game I have encountered, as a player often receives a beneficial spell cast on them by random players passing by, in addition to people bailing out players who are near death.
The combat, while a bit simplistic, is quite enjoyable. The player has the options to choose from different physical and magical attacks that will help determine the flow of battle. In an effort to help promote group interaction, some skills will provide benefits to the entire party when used.
Graphics: 10
Graphically the game is incredible to look at, as player characters/npcs and enemies are well detailed and impressive to look at. The player animations while doing things such as laughing or dancing are well done, bringing life into the characters. The landscapes are well done, but the real treat graphically is when a player enters one of the major cities in the game. The sheer size of the cities, in addition to the immense statues/bridges/cathedrals that exist in the major cities are stunning to look at.
Sound:10
The sound for the game is well done as well. The music is fitting for the fantasy theme, and can really enjoyable in some areas such as the major cities. Characters have a wide range of sounds ranging from laughter or crying, to imitating a train or chicken. Each race has well done voice acting which is shown by telling jokes or flirting with other players.
The battle and magic sounds may be a bit generic, but they are well done as players and monsters both sound impressive in regards to combat and deaths
Overall: 10
The game features things to cater to everyone's tastes, be it playing alone or with friends, trading in a thriving economy, or doing whatever one wishes, as the game is completely open ended.
Anyone can get the hang of what to do within moments of starting to play, while being immersed in a graphically and musically pleasing world.
